How do I create my digital art?

“Digital art” refers to artwork created using software, computers, or other electronic devices. In many ways, it’s simply the replacement of traditional tools, swapping paintbrushes and paint for pixels. While many digital artists work in 3D mediums, my practice uses simpler techniques that still involve plenty of drawing, colour mixing, and layering. The difference is that I apply photographic textures rather than working with tactile art supplies.

What does 'limited edition' mean?

'Limited Edition' artworks have a limit of the amount of times they may be reproduced which makes them more exclusive. I offer each print with a limit of 50, regardless of the size so once they're gone that's it! Each artwork comes with a hand-signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.

How do I decide what size is best for my space?

While there isn't always a definitive answer, here are some general tips and considerations:

  • It may seem obvious, but always measure your wall space first!
  • Consider the orientation of the available space to choose the best format for your piece.
  • Take into account your furniture, especially if it's placed underneath the artwork, and try to leave at least a 10 - 15cm gap.
  • If hanging artwork over a bed or couch, try not to exceed 75% of its width with your piece.
  • Artwork looks best when its centre point is hung at eye level.
  • And lastly, if in doubt, my tip is to go larger! Artwork tends to "shrink" in place, so you're far less likely to regret choosing a larger statement piece than something that appears underwhelming.
Can I request a custom size?

In most cases the answer is yes! As long as the size requested is not so large that it compromises the artwork’s resolution, many smaller, larger, or in-between sizes can be accommodated. Please get in touch here to discuss your preferred dimensions, and I’ll be happy to provide a custom quote.

What is the difference between canvas and paper?

Both materials deliver nearly identical colour results so apart from the textural difference the most obvious distinction lies in the framing approach: canvas can be framed without glass, while fine art paper requires framing behind glass for protection. Find out more about it under 'Printing' here.

What do I do if I want to return my artwork?

All artworks are made-to-order, and therefor, returns or exchanges for reasons of change of mind won't be accepted. In the unlikely event you believe your artworks arrived damaged please read more here.

Framing and finishing

What do I do with unframed artworks once they arrive?

Unframed prints are delivered rolled in a protective mailing tube. To avoid any risk of damage, it’s best to keep them in their packaging until your framer is ready to handle them.

If you’ve ordered a stretched canvas without a frame, it will arrive ready to hang, offering a clean, contemporary presentation on its own. You can always choose to have it framed later if you prefer a more defined, gallery-style finish.

Can I frame artwork myself using a different frame?

If you decide to purchase one of my pieces, I highly recommend investing a little extra to have the framing done by a professional. However, if you’re confident you have the appropriate frame (especially for paper prints) make sure to remove the print only when you're ready to place it in the frame, and avoid touching the face of the print while doing so.

Will my canvas print come rolled or stretched?

If you live within Australia, the choice is yours. You can order your canvas either stretched and ready to hang, or rolled for framing at a later date. For customers outside Australia, I highly recommend selecting the rolled option, as it keeps delivery costs to a minimum and makes international shipping much safer.

How can I get my artwork framed as shown?

If you’re in Australia, you can order your artwork framed directly through me. I work with trusted, highly skilled suppliers to ensure a premium, gallery-quality finish. If you’re located outside Australia, you’re welcome to share my product descriptions and imagery with your preferred local framer to help achieve a similar result. If having your artwork framed is essential, please get in touch, as in some cases I may be able to facilitate international framing depending on your location.

What frame colours and styles are offered?

All stretched and framed canvas prints are delivered ready to hang in a premium floating frame, which creates the effect of the artwork appearing “suspended” within its border for added depth and presence. Frame finishes include natural Tasmanian oak, chosen for its timeless versatility and ability to complement all artworks, as well as black or white timber with a smooth matte finish.

A stretched canvas without a frame is also available, offering a clean, contemporary presentation with exposed edges. If you’d like to explore custom framing options beyond these standard finishes, please get in touch here to discuss what’s possible.

How are the sizes of the artworks measured?

The size listed refers to the finished artwork area. For canvas prints, an additional 5cm mirrored wrap edge is included on every side so the image continues seamlessly around the stretcher frame without cropping into the main design. If you choose to have your canvas framed, please allow an extra 5cm to both the height and width to account for the floating frame.

Fine art paper prints arrive with a 5cm white border, designed to create a clean, gallery-style finish that enhances the artwork with a timeless, refined look. For example, a 100 × 100cm paper print will feature a 90 × 90cm artwork area plus a 5cm border on all sides.

Delivery

How long will my artwork take to arrive?

Each artwork is made to order, produced especially for you once your purchase is placed.

Your order will be produced by the team closest to you (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Perth) to minimise transit and ensure safe delivery. Depending on your location, one of my framers may deliver in person; otherwise, your artwork will be carefully wrapped, boxed, and dispatched with tracking.

Production times
Fine art paper: 1 - 2 weeks
Canvas (unframed): 2 - 3 weeks
Canvas (framed): 3 - 5 weeks

Domestic transit times vary, and customers will receive updates along the way. International orders are best placed as rolled prints, with production and delivery timeframes provided separately after purchase.

Where is artwork shipped from?

Within Australia, all artworks are produced and shipped locally, with orders fulfilled by the trusted team closest to you in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, or Perth to minimise transit time and ensure safe delivery.

For international orders, shipping locations vary depending on your destination and the specific requirements of your order. In many cases, artworks are shipped directly from Australia, but I also work with trusted global partners to optimise delivery timeframes and logistics when best suited.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, I certainly do. Customers outside Australia are encouraged to order rolled canvas or paper prints directly through the website, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. If you have a strong preference for a framed canvas piece, please get in touch before placing your order, as I may be able to facilitate this depending on your location.

What will shipping cost?

Within Australia, delivery on all framed and unframed prints is completely free.

For orders outside Australia, shipping costs are calculated at checkout. I recommend purchasing rolled canvas or paper prints directly through the website, as this is usually the most cost-effective and efficient option for international delivery. If you have a strong preference for a framed canvas piece, please get in touch before placing your order, as I may be able to facilitate this depending on your location. In that case, I will provide a custom order summary along with a payment link for your consideration.

What is your returns policy?

All artworks are made to order, so I’m unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. You can read the full details of my returns policy here on the Shipping & Returns page.
